What distinguishes good trousers from bad?
We have found out a few things.

Good trousers just get better with time! That's a fact! Breaking in new trousers is something you want to do as seldom as possible! Therefore it is good if seams, buttons and other details cut the mustard! So you don't get chafed by new seams so often!

We've been developing our craftsman's trousers together with our team of construction workers, electricians, carpenters, plumbers and metalworkers for nearly a decade now. We are never satisfied, but we are proud. Proud that our entire test team likes our garments! This proves that we're right, and we therefore carry on refining the clothes all the time! What is it that distinguishes good trousers from bad ones, anyway? There is a lot we can talk about.

To start with, you have to choose the right material. Most often we use a 375 gramme cotton. Woven for maximum durability and resistance to sharp objects and abrasions. Then it lasts for longer. In order to give the trousers a longer service life, we reinforce them with Cordura on the areas that are extra vulnerable to wear. Our seams are exclusively triple stitched in all the important places which are subjected to more strain and stress. In this way you do not need to show underwear if you do not want! Buttons and zippers are sturdy and stay on! To develop a good fit takes time. We've taken our time, and we've now found the right waist height, the right leg length and width. We've seen to it that the pockets, leg protectors and other details are exactly where you reach and can make the best use of them. Other clever things like extra wide straps, thinner fabric inside the telephone pocket and pre-shaped knees are things that might not be immediately visible, but altogether makes them really good working trousers. Trousers made to work in - for a long time. Designed to work!
